[ A BRIEF HISTORY ]
We met in Clarendon, Virginia, at a bar creatively named The Clarendon Grill. At last call, we left the Grill and walked across the street to the Silver Diner. Here, Kevin's heroic and generous act of giving Bonnie his pancakes helped her realize that his sarcastic and dry demeanor was a ruse.
After about a year of dating, we moved in together and adopted two cats. Kevin doesn’t want to write their names, but they are Mac and Cheese. It’s important you know those were their foster names.
Our next big chapter unfolded on a trip to Barcelona. Kevin booked a sailboat at sunset. He was being quiet on the way because the ring was loose in his shorts pocket for a mile walk, 10 minute cab, and hour long sailboat ride. The proposal was beautiful, and we popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
While in Barcelona we chatted with a older gentleman who lived in LA. We told him we visited LA back in 2019 and loved it. He told us we should move there. A couple of months later, we did.
After settling into our home in Santa Monica, we discovered Los Olivos, where the wine is definitely better than the drinks at the Clarendon Grill. It’s our perfect venue and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
